Gathering Dust - Team Project
Gathering Dust is a short playful plat-former developed in Second (2nd) Year of University for our group project. This project was a taster to the upcoming Professional Project in Third (3rd) Year. This allowed members of our team to try out roles they had not previously taken on in a group project and to determine if they were best suited for their chosen roles or others.
Production & Design
For this project I took on two main roles Producer, as well as Associate Designer. These roles were rather varied, and had me performing a number of differing tasks for the project. Primarily as the Producer and Associate Designer I was tasked with a number of things.
- Maintaining the momentum of the project
- Setting deadlines and deadlines were met in time
- I thus ensured the team members were able to tackle the tasks they were set
- Ensuring the scope of the project did not come too much for the team
- Developing the Level Layouts
- Placement of level obstacles
- Development of the overall story and setting
Dust Bunnies
